Sparrow Eaton Hospital's Emergency Department is staffed by board-certified emergency medicine physicians, critical care nurses and emergency medical services (EMS) personnel skilled in providing patient care during a medical or trauma emergency. Sparrow Eaton Hospital has an excellent working relationship with area facilities to provide Eaton County residents with a full spectrum of care. We provide emergency medical care 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Sparrow Eaton Hospital maintains clinical pathways for heart attack and stroke care with surrounding tertiary care facilities to expedite access to the necessary medical care.

Please note that Sparrow Eaton Hospital also provides urgent care services at its main hospital location. You may consider SEH Urgent Care where out-of-pocket costs are lower and care can be quicker for more minor medical concerns, such as:
- Cough or congestion
- Ear or eye infections
- Fever, colds, flu symptoms, sore throat and sinus pain
- Frequent or painful urination
- Minor allergic reactions and asthma attacks
- Minor cuts that may need stitches
- Nausea, vomiting or diarrhea
- Pink eye
- Sprains, strains or scrapes
